Intersessional Meetings - Sponsorship Applications

The Mine Ban Treaty's Intersessional Standing Committee Meetings will take place in Geneva from 20 to 24 June 2011 and the Convention on Cluster Munitions' Intersessional Meetings will take place in Geneva from 27 to 30 June 2011. ICBL campaigners, CMC campaigners and Monitor researchers will find some initial information on both meetings in the logistical memo.

The ICBL-CMC is running a sponsorship programme to support the participation of active campaigners, particularly from affected and low-income countries, in the Mine Ban Treaty's Intersessional Standing Committee Meetings (MBT ISC) and in the Convention on Cluster Munitions' Intersessional Meetings taking place in Geneva in June 2011.

In order to request sponsorship for one or both meetings, campaigners need to complete the online sponsorship application form. Please make sure to select the meeting for which you are applying for sponsorship or indicate that you are applying for participation in both meetings. Campaigners shall apply for one or both meetings according to the activities in their country and provide details of these activities in the campaigning questions of the application form.

The deadline to submit the sponsorship requests is 4 April 2011. All applicants will be notified by email of the result of their application by 18 April 2011 at the latest.
