Linking to Landmine Monitor

This page is to provide administrators of other websites with technical advise on linking to the various resources found on the Landmine Monitor website. Please read our copyright policy regarding legal matters on using material from our site.

The code below provides links to Landmine Monitor homepage with logo as well as the sites of the different Landmine Monitor Reports with the corresponding bookcover. If you want to link directly to a country report or other parts of the reports feel free to do so. As long as no attempt is made to present the material as your own we encourage such linking.

If you use frames on your site we recommend that you open the link replacing your own menus or open in a new window. The code included below will automatically open replacing your own page - if you don't use frames this will not matter.

Linking to LM Country reports: For those that want to keep a link to a specific country report we have a URL which will always link to the last years report. These are as follows: www.icbl.org/lm/country/[countryname] , so if you for example want to link to the Afghanistan country report you could use the URL www.icbl.org/lm/country/afghanistan . Every year we will then update on our server so that your link goes to the most up to date report.

If you prefer to have the graphics hosted on your own server please do copy the file over and change the code. However you are not permitted to modify the graphics in no other way than resizing and any use of these images should be accompanied with a link directly to the Landmine Monitor website. If you want to have larger graphics we recommend using the supplied alternate images.

Just copy the code from the boxes below and paste in HTML mode where you want the image and link to appear on your page

Please write the ICBL Webmaster at webmaster@icbl.org if you have any questions.
