Send a Landmine Monitor Report 2004 e-Card!
SUMMARY
On Wednesday 17 November the major, global findings of Landmine Monitor Report 2004 will be released according to theme in Phnom Penh, Maputo, and Brussels. On and after 18 November, campaigners are planning events and publicity activities in cities including Baku, Bangkok, Barcelona, Bogotá, Cairo, Damascus, Dhaka, Geneva, Hargeisa, Istanbul, Kabul, Lilongwe, Nairobi, New Delhi, Oslo, Ottawa,Paris, Rome, Skopje, Tokyo, Vientiane, Wellington, and Yogyakarta. In addition, campaigners plan to issue press releases and do media calls to release the 2004 report in several countries including Austria, Brazil, and Bulgaria.
The report is embargoed until 18 November, with the exception of the three thematic launch locations, which will do television and radio. Any print stories are embargoed until 18 November.
