As the Wellington Conference on Cluster Munitions enters its final day, civil society representatives including members of the Cluster Munitions Coalition, ICBL Ambassador and Nobel Peace Laureate Jody Williams, and cluster bomb survivors continue their active participation to ensure that the text of the future treaty to ban cluster munitions will be a strong and comprehensive one, even in the face of efforts by some countries to weaken it.

More than 2,000 petitions were collected and handed over to New Zealand’s Minister of Disarmament and Arms Control.
