The aim of the “Ban Bus” tour is to build a strong foundation of support for a ban in Ireland that Irish politicians can act upon when the country hosts treaty negotiations on cluster bombs in May 2008.
The Ban Bus left Dublin on 29 April and will return to the Irish capital on 19 May in time for the Conference opening, after stopping for awareness raising events in Kilkenny, Galway, Limerick, Letterkenny, Belfast, Derry and Co. Mayo.
The Ban Bus is supported by the Cluster Munitions Coalition (CMC), Handicap International and the Irish CMC.
You can follow the tour by visiting the Ban Bus website.
