Two ratifications needed for the Convention on Cluster Munitions to enter into force!

Twenty-eight countries have expressed their consent to be bound by the Convention on Cluster Munitions. After signing the convention, they have deposited their instrument of ratification with the Secretary-General of the United Nations.

Two other ratifications are required for the convention to enter into force and become binding international law!

  • Contact your government and urge it to ratify or sign the convention if it has not yet done so (Cluster Munition Coalition's website)

We urge all the other countries that have signed the Convention on Cluster Munitions to ratify it without delay, and those that have not yet signed the Convention to do so as soon as possible.
