Victim Assistance Workshop Report, 27 November 2009

A preparatory workshop on victim assistance was held on 27 November 2009, on the eve of the Cartagena Summit on a Mine-Free World. Bringing together over 60 campaigners, experts and survivors, the one-day gathering aimed at confirming key messages for the Summit, getting approval on the Survivors' Call to Action drafted earlier, and identifying post-Cartagena priorities: coordination, accessibility, capacity building, economic inclusion, funding, and inclusion of the Convention on the Rights of the Persons with Disabilities in advocacy activities.
