Our warmest thanks to all our facilitators, key speakers and participants who actively contributed to the training on treaty implementation.
We have collected your comments and suggestions at the end of the training, and most of you were very enthusiastic about this day.
A great deal of experience on advocacy exists within the ICBL, and many campaigners emphasised that the day provided a great opportunity to exchange views on advocacy means and to get up-to-date and practical information about core aspects of the mine problem. As an example, the possibility of brainstorming ideas on advocacy for survivor assistance with actual survivors was really appreciated.
For a future workshop, some participants would like to have more time for small group discussion. The evaluation definitively shows that campaigners are interested in learning from each other's expertise and experience, and that they wish to get into details and discuss strategies to advocate on every aspect of treaty implementation.
