The 2008 edition of the Landmine Monitor Annual Report will be released globally at a press conference hosted by the UN Institute for Disarmament Research in Geneva, Switzerland.
This is the tenth annual report published by the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL), containing information on 121 countries and areas with respect to ban policy, use, production, transfer, stockpiling, mine clearance, mine/ERW risk education, casualties, victim assistance and international support for mine action.

Members of the Landmine Monitor Editorial Team, some of the world’s leading experts on landmines, will be on hand to answer media questions and conduct interviews in Dutch, English, French, and Spanish.
A media kit in Arabic, English, French, Russian and Spanish will be available in hard copy at the press conference, and all media kit contents will be posted to our website www.icbl.org/lm starting on 21 November at 01:00 GMT.
