Why do South Korean and the USA governments refuse to sign up to the international agreement, the Ottawa Process? Is the national security system so weak that they have to depend on landmines? Is the USA truly alliance of South Korea? The documentary ”Land of Iron” asks that question. This documenatry film is about the landmine situation and human rights issue in Korea. Filming took place on the borderline of North and South Korea in last May 2000.
