This study by Sheree Bailey aims to present a clearer picture with regards to landmine survivors in the region and the facilities available. It also identifies challenges and opportunities for victim assistance. Finally, it provides an analysis and data for States, donors, and victim assistance practitioners to improve the effectiveness and reach of victim assistance programming responses. The study covers the following countries : Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia (Former Yugoslav Republic of), Serbia and Montenegro, Province of Kosovo, and Slovenia.
