Afghanistan; A Case Study.
Explosive Remnants of War pose an immense problem to communities recovering from conflict. Long after Peace Treaties have been signed and ceasefires negotiated, this debris of war continues taking toll on civilians, Relief workers and peacekeepers alike. This Dissertation therefore seeks to examine Afghanistan’s post-conflict reconstruction efforts against a background of Explosive Remnants of War, especially landmines.
