In late 2001 and early 2002, the ICRC initiated an external evaluation of its Mine Risk Education Programme in order to assess different aspects of the program, to include a survey of knowledge, attitude, and practices (KAP survey) of general and specific populations in Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding landmines and UXO's and Mine Awareness.
