If there are internal or external pages that relate to the page you are currently editing you can easily add these using the "Related Objects" tool which is found in the right column when you edit a page. The procedure differs slightly for internal ICBL site pages and external sites including the parts of the ICBL site not yet in eZ Publish (LM, Youth and Index as of 25 August)
The related objects automatically show in the right column if they are an article, folder, link or file. If you want them to list at the bottom of the page you can tick off "Show related articles at end".
Relations to internal pages
- Open to edit the page where you want to make the relations
(Not the page you want to make the relation to)
- Click the magnifying glass under "Related Objects" to search for existing pages
- You will now get the browse window which can be used to create relation to one or more pages/objects.
- Click on the titles to open and list contents and tick to the left of the object to select
- Click "Select" at the bottom once you have done your selection
- Repeat 2-5 to add more objects from separate locations.
- Publish once you are finished.
Relations to external pages
Pages on other websites, Landmine Monitor and youth site will need to be related using a the links document class. Note that you could also relate these by just using regular links in the body of the page which might be faster. This method will make more sense once the Index on Landmines has been transferred to this same system.
- Open to edit the page where you want to make the relations
- Under "Related Objects" find "Link" and click "New"
- Fill in form, at least title and URL
- Click "Send for publishing"
- Repeat 2-4 for additional links
- Click "Send for publishing" on the parent page
