Note that PDFs should be used only when there's an added value to putting them up. And where possible you should also provide the text content of the PDF as a webpage. Thise because PDFs are heavier to download and makes it technically harder to access the information.
Two options:
- Your PDF is textually a copy of what you put on a webpage as a News Article or a regular Article:
Use the PDF field available with the article.
The PDF will be available as PDF icon on top of the page and as a text link under Page Info on the right of the page. It will also show a PDF icon by the title when the article is listed in folders.
NOTE: This should only be done if the PDF will contain significant visual difference (images, formatting +++) over the text version.
- You don't have or want to provide the text version of the document, or it makes no sense without it's formatting and images:
Create a file child/sub-article of the folder or article you are in.
The file will automatically be linked under sub-articles in the right margin. Tick "show sub-articles/children" to also have it listed at the end of articles.
