The "Third International NGO Conference on Landmines," held inPhnom Penh, Cambodia in June 1995, was the first landmine banconference held in a mine-affected country. The conference resulted inincreased communication and cooperation between campaignmembers, as well as the launch of six new country campaigns in thesouth immediately. The meeting broadened the face and scope of thecampaign and facilitated the campaign's strategic planning for theConvention on Conventional Weapons (CCW) Review Conference laterthat year. The final report outlines activities and results of thisimportant campaign conference.
