Jackie Hansen
Jackie Hansen has served as Landmine Monitor Project Manager since March 2005. She worked with the International Campaign to Ban Landmines as Project Assistant and later Project Officer in Washington, DC from 2000-2005, and with the Youth Mine Action Ambassador Program, hosted at the Canadian Red Cross in Vancouver, BC, from 1999-2000. Her volunteer experiences includes advocacy and outreach on human rights and environmental issues. She has traveled and worked in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America. Hansen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Anthropology from the University of Victoria and she speaks fluent English, proficient Spanish and basic French. She is based at the Mines Action Canada office in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
