Stan Brabant

Stan Brabant has been with Handicap International since 1994 and is currently the head of Handicap International's Policy Unit and a member of the Landmine Monitor Editorial Board. Previously, he has worked on mine clearance and mine risk education programs in Cambodia and Afghanistan and also developed an experimental community awareness program based on traditional Afghan structures in Kandahar province, southern Afghanistan. His experience as an integral member of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines has recently been put to use in the campaign against cluster munitions, a movement Stan has been actively involved with since 2005; for more information please visit www.stopclustermunitions.org.
