Chris, a British land mine survivor who lost an arm and a leg in Mozambique, is running from the bottom of Death Valley to the top of Mt. Whitney. When he’s finished, he plans to turn right around and run back. That’s 270 grueling miles, all to raise awareness and funds for land mine survivors who don't have access to quality health care and rehabilitative programs and services.
Monies raised from Chris’ run will help fund the programs and services of Physicians Against Land Minesand The Center for International Rehabilitation. These include research and development, field work, training, public education and advocacy.
