This date is also the anniversary of the opening for signature of the 1997 Mine Ban Treaty. 10 December is the sixth anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize award to Jody Williams and the ICBL. Call your MP, write to the Minister of Foreign Affairs (or similar), contact an embassy. Ask what is being done to promote and implement that 1997 Mine Ban Treaty.
