This is the online version of the ICBL campaign kit first presented in May 1999. Hopefully this will be a resource both to ICBL campaigners and also to people outside the campaign working with similar issues.

  Getting your message out is important and this booklet looks are who to talk to in the media (including a section on media lists and developing contacts), press releases, media conferences, interviews, letters to the editor and producing campaign materials (such as posters and stickers).

  Based on the ICBL’s experience of organising numerous successful conferences, seminars and workshops this section looks at everything you need to know to continue organising these events which help us network, educate our members, strategise for future actions and lobby government. Included in this booklet are sections on: getting started, budgets and proposals, staff and volunteers, guests, programme content, logistics and reports.
