TO ALL CAMPAIGNS
Dear Friends,
1st March is coming very close. So the Advisory Board as well as ICBL staff is calling you all to stir into action. It is a good time to arouse interest in the landmines problem in all countries once again. Sylvie has sent out some ideas to celebrate March 1st and the period up to April 4. Make sure you send news of your activities back to Sylvie.
We know the Australian Campaign is organising a workshop for young people from the region in Laos, from 1- 5 March 2006. That is a great way to get the next generation in mine affected countries involved.
24 February is Mine Awareness Day in Cambodia so we send this to you as part of SAMAKI (Solidarity) in the effort to have a mine free world.
We attach a simple letter the Cambodia Campaign sent round to all the ambassadors, government ministries, NGO's etc as the donors meet here in March we are lobbying for continued funding.
