Mines Action Canada hosted an international symposium in Ottawa,
Canada from 30 November - 1 December 2002 to commemorate the
fifth anniversary of the opening for signature of the Mine Ban Treaty.
The purpose of this symposium was to identify goals for treaty targets
over the next five years and to strategize on how best to tackle these
challenges.
