With a focus on improving the communication techniques of mine
awareness programmes, "Communication in Mine Awareness
Programmes" suggests that better communication results in more
effective programmes. Studying Cambodia, Kosovo and Nicaragua, the
study identifies lessons that will help to strengthen future mine
awareness programmes, particularly guidelines for good
communication practice, and includes sample survey instruments.
