for researchers and staff of the broader mine action community that
assists with the assessment, planning, monitoring and evaluating of
community -based mine/UXO awareness education. It is divided into
six sections covering topics such as participatory approaches,
information gathering and presentation of information. This guide
recognizes the need for mine awareness programmes to move towards
a more comprehensive and integrated approach to mine risk education.
