This pamphlet highlights the mine risk education programs
coordinated by the International Committee of the Red Cross
throughout some of the world's most mine-affected areas of Africa,
the Middle East, South America and South East Europe. These
programs are currently based on three main principles: data collection,
community participation and integration with the humanitarian sector
at large.
