Hidden Killers: The Global Landmine Crisis

The United States (US) Department of State published "Hidden Killers:
The Global Landmine Crisis" in 1993, 1994 and 1998 for the US
Congress on the landmine problem and United States strategy for
mine action. The 1998 report was part of US President Clinton's
"Demining 2010 Initiative" and was designed to take account of new
developments as well as update information about 12 of the most
severely mine-affected countries. Also as part of the "Demining 2010
Initiative," the US Department of State published "To Walk the Earth
in Safety," a 1999 report that highlights 26 mine-affected countries.
