Participatory Monitoring of Humanitarian Mine Action

The authors of this study explore the possibility of adopting
participatory mine action monitoring techniques in Nicaragua,
Mozambique and Cambodia. Through a bottom-up approach of
enabling local citizens to express their needs, such techniques aim to
foster a better match between mine victim aid policies and mine victim
needs and enhance the rehabilitation of mine-affected communities.
