The "Third International NGO Conference on Landmines," held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in June 1995, was the first landmine ban conference held in a mine-affected country. The conference resulted in increased communication and cooperation between campaign members, as well as the launch of six new country campaigns in the south immediately. The meeting broadened the face and scope of the campaign and facilitated the campaign's strategic planning for the Convention on Conventional Weapons (CCW) Review Conference later that year. The final report outlines activities and results of this important campaign conference.
