The International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL) together with the
United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) hosted the "Second NGO
Conference on Landmines" in Geneva, Switzerland from 9-11 May 1994.
Over 110 representatives from 75 organizations participated in this
meeting, which reaffirmed the ICBL's Joint Call to Ban Antipersonnel
Landmines and helped to solidify support for the campaign. This report on
conference proceedings includes reports from individual meetings,
country reports and updated information about the global landmine
problem.
