Mine Ban Treaty

After years of mobilizing civil society and working in a concerted effort
with governments and international organizations, the goal of a treaty
banning antipersonnel mines was no longer a utopian dream; it
became a reality. This is the official text of the "Convention on the
Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of
Antipersonnel Mines and on their Destruction," opened for signature
on 3 December 1997 in Ottawa, Canada.
Language: Arabic, Burmese, English, French, Italian, Japanese, Lao,
