The International Campaign to Ban Landmines' Non-State Actors
Working Group held a conference to address the need to include nonstate
actors in the mine ban. This publication documents the
proceedings of this conference that aimed to start off this dialogue
process. Held in Geneva, Switzerland in March 2000, participants
explored ways of engaging armed opposition groups in the effort to
eradicate landmines.
