The Working Group on Victim Assistance was created following the
signing of the 1997 Mine Ban Treaty and represents over 40 NGOs
around the world committed to quality assistance to landmine
survivors. This document outlines the main positions of the Working
Group on issues related to victim assistance at the time of its
publication.
