Opening the page to edit

  1. Open the page you want to edit, or it's parent page

Edit icons as displayed with edit permissions on www.icbl.org/problem, highlighted with red circle.
Clicking the icon to the right of "The Problem" will edit this folder/page. Clicking the icon to the right of any of the other titles will edit the respective article.

  2. Find the edit icon:
    Edit
    - usually found to the right of the page title.
  3. Click the icon to start editing the page.
  4. Once you have finished editing click "Send for publishing". You will then be returned to the parent of the page you edited and the page you edited will be updated.

Some other things to notice when editing:

  • All the latest published versions will stay archived in the system. Meaning that if you made unwanted changes to a page it is possible to go back to and restore older versions. Contact the webmaster to get help with such.
  • Some times you will get a message that someone is already editing the page in question. Often this will happen because other users have not finished their articles. Then please contact the user and ask to enter and discard the draft.
  • As soon as you click the edit button a new draft is created. If you erroneously clicked edit then please click "Discard" when the edit window opens, else the draft will stay on the system and subsequent editors will be confused as to whether you are working on the draft or not. All drafts can be found on your personal drafts page - www.icbl.org/content/draft - you can easily delete wrongly created drafts from that page.
