The amount of formatting you can do yourself is quite limited, this has been done in order to obtain a uniform formatting on all the pages. Eg. you can not set the type of font and the size to use. Remember that what you see when editing is not the same as what the final page will be. Use the preview button (top right) to get a better idea of the final page.
Note that when you copy and paste from eg. Microsoft Word you will initially see the formatting as it was in Word. But once you publish, store draft or similar the formatting will be automatically stripped down to only what is allowed in this system. Hence before you start doing final formatting of something you've pasted you should store draft first.
Headings
The styles box in the formatting toolbar.
To make headings stand out you can use the "styles" box to give it the standard heading formattings. Note that you have to follow the logic of the headings and cannot start eg. on heading 3, the first logical level of headings has to be heading 1. Here's how to do:
- Place the cursor on the line you want to empasize
- Select the heading level from the styles box.
The text will now be empasized.
