The system by default keeps the ten latest published versions of all pages. This means that if content is deleted by accident or you just don't like the changes you have made you can revert back to an archived version.
Note that access to this depends on your rights on the system, if you don't at all find the items mentioned then ask someone you think has more permissions to help you.
How to restore?
Viewing the 10 latest versions of a page.
Clicking the version number will display the page as it was in that version.
(Only administrator users will have the option to delete drafts and archived versions here)
- Sign in and view (not edit) the page you want to work with.
- In your personal menu (top left corner) select "View recent versions"
- You will now see the list of existing versions of the page. Click on the version number if you need to view the version to verify the content.
- Select the version you wish to restore by clicking in the radio button to the far right of it.
- Click "Copy and edit" below
- You will now have that version open in the editing window, make changes if any and then click "Send for publishing" once you are satisfied.
- The old version will now show, and exist as a new version in it's own right.
