How to add a new language version of the Treaty?

Only editors can add new treaty texts. Send the document to webmasterSPAMFLTER@SPATMFLTERicbl.org if you are not an editor.

1. Go to www.icbl.org/treaty/text
2. At the bottom of the page select "Treaty Text" from the create new drop-down box
   (if you can't see Treaty Text in the list you are not an editor)
   
3. Fill in the form with the neccessary information:
   

   Language in English	Name of the language version, eg. Spanish
   Full title	Full title in the respective language. Eg "Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on Their Destruction" translated into the respective language. If the language is in a non-english language just type eg: Turkish version of the Mine Ban Treaty
   Preamble	If the text is only provided as PDF and/or MS Word write so here, eg type: Only available as PDF and MS Word. If the text is available you put the translated preamble of the treaty here.
   Article 1	Should have Article 1 of the translated treaty. If no text is provided here the document will not have link on the language name on www.icbl.org/treaty/text - only links to PDF. And MS word if the user is a campaigner.
   Article 2-22	Should contain the translated articles - one article per field. Try using as nice formatting as possible with indented bullets and numbers. Remember that to change to ordered list with letters you can right click once you have created the list and change to letters. List FAQ.
   PDF Version	All documents, even if with latin character alphabet, should be made available as PDF. Create the PDF and upload in this field.
   Original text file	If available provide MS Word or RTF or any other format text file. This makes it possible to edit and easily reprint the document as part of other publications in the future. This file is only available to signed in campaigners.
   Translation provided by	Write a short credit to the one who made the translation. Max 1-2 sentences. Eg: "Translation provided by the Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs."
